We do NOT collect personally identifiable information. Polylingo is designed to work locally and prioritize user privacy.

• Local Storage: To save your preferences, translation history, and settings locally on your device or browser.
• Microphone Access: Only when using speech input features, and only with your permission. Audio is not recorded or stored.
• Device Info (Mobile Apps only): May be used to enhance compatibility or for crash/error logging (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide translation, speech, and language features.
• To store your personal preferences and history locally.
• To improve user experience and app functionality.

3. Third-Party Services

Polylingo may use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) – for hosting and optional analytics/crash reporting.
• Google Translate API – for translations.
• Google AdMob – if ads are displayed in the app (mobile only).

Because we do not collect or store personal information, there's no data to access, modify, or delete. Your usage is fully anonymous.

Your data is stored locally on your device or browser. We do not transmit your translations or preferences to any server unless explicitly needed (e.g., for cloud backup or API translations).

Polylingo does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.
